Rules for the stay
"Il Porto Affittacamere" is a private structure in which one or more bedrooms are made available to guests; the breakfast area is shared.
Being a small family-run structure, there is no reception service available at all hours of the day as in hotels, so the guest is required to communicate the estimated time of arrival.
Going to the structure without having advised about the arrival time can cause even long waits. This problem cannot be a reason for complaints or claims for reimbursement.
Rates:
The rates indicated in each room include accommodation, breakfast, daily cleaning, change of sheets and towels every 3 nights or on request with supplement (change of bed linen € 7.00; change of towels € 4.00)
The bed linen and towels are always replaced when the guest changes.
"Il Porto" is authorized to accept credit and debit cards. Checks are not accepted.
Rooms cleaning:
The manager can access the rooms, if free, for daily cleaning.
If the rooms are occupied at the time of cleaning, the room will not be cleaned daily.
Booking:
The reservation request can be made by telephone or by email or through the appropriate form on the website.
Once the room is available, for extended stays, a deposit equal to 50% of the total amount due is required to be made by bank transfer or credit card. The reservation is definitively confirmed upon confirmation of the advance by sending a copy of the payment receipt.
Terms of payment:
The balance for the entire duration of the stay must be paid upon check-in.
In case of cancellation of the reservation (when the deposit has been paid):
There is no refund of the amount paid if the cancellation is communicated within 15 days before the arrival date.
There is no refund if the cancellation is communicated after 15 days, however, the guest is given the opportunity to use the security deposit for another booking in the same calendar year.
If the guest does not take possession of the accommodation on the scheduled day without communicating the delay, the reservation will be considered canceled and no refund is due.
Should the owner of "Il Porto" be forced to cancel the reservation, it will be the responsibility of the same to immediately notify the guest by returning the sum paid or, if possible, to propose an alternative accommodation. No responsibility will be assumed for cancellations made due to force majeure.
Arrival and departure times:
The rooms are available after 15.00 if previously occupied and must be vacated by 10.00 on the day following the last overnight stay. Check-in must take place before 20.00. It is advisable to give an approximate time of arrival to avoid long waits in front of the structure.
Registration:
Upon arrival, the guest is required to show a valid identity document, for registration in accordance with the current provisions of the law.
Registration data processing:
The data provided will be processed in compliance with the confidentiality and security obligations governed by current legislation, will be processed exclusively for purposes relating to the activity and will not be disseminated.
Number of person:
It is not allowed to bring into the B&B people whose identity document has not been registered or without the owner's consent.
Animals:
It is not possible to host animals.
Breakfast time:
Breakfast is served at the agreed time the day before; in any case between 7.30 and 9.30 (in case of special needs the time must be previously agreed with the manager). Outside these hours, it is forbidden to use the breakfast room, the kitchen and the whole living area for meals. This is also prohibited in the bedrooms.
Prohibitions:
Smoking is forbidden both inside the rooms and in all areas available to guests.
It is forbidden to allow children to use the appliances in the kitchen.
It is forbidden to throw diapers and anything that could obstruct the pipes into the toilet.
It is forbidden to wander around with clothes that could offend others' modesty.
Obligations of the guest:
The guest is required to pay compensation for damage caused to the structure and for the improper use of complementary equipment.
Total silence must be observed from 22.00 to 8.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00.
In any case, a behavior must be maintained that in any moment of the day and in no way damages the tranquility of others.
It is mandatory to turn off the lights, television, air conditioner and other systems when leaving the structure.
Recommendations:
Guests are invited to supervise their objects as the owners of the structure are not responsible for their custody.
Guests are invited to double-lock the front door and take care of the keys.
Do not leave the keys inserted in the lock.
Guests must return the keys before departure.
Any loss of house keys will result in a corresponding charge for changing the lock and the entire set of keys.
